The MTE features a 128 x 64 pixel LCD, able to display up to 8 lines of 21 characters and offering graphic possibilities.

A single connector at the top of the unit provides the
connections for external power and recharge, as well
as wired data transmission. The MTE is fitted with an
orientable antenna for data transmission, providing 100
meters of range in open space.
